One of the 3 anchors of the Asian Sailing Circuit for the Perpetual Cup series, participants in this exhilarating regatta will race against other sailors from the region in 9 races, over 4 days and between 2 beautiful destinations - Singapore and Batam from 14 to 18 January 2014.

Organised by ONE°15 Marina Club and supported by Changi Sailing Club, Marina at Keppel Bay, Nongsa Point Marina & Resort, Raffles Marina, Republic of Singapore Yacht Club and sanctioned by the Singapore Sailing Federation, the stakeholders joined forces to organise this landmark event which reaches out to boat owners and yachting enthusiasts in the region. Dr Ben Tan, President of Singapore Sailing Federation adds “The Singapore Straits Regatta is an integral part of Singapore’s sailing calendar. SingaporeSailing is glad to see the host of the SSR continuing to engage various government agencies to reinvent and build the event. The additional categories and multiple formats in the last edition is testimony that the SSR aims to meet diverse expectations. And the growth in entries in the last edition bodes well for this and future editions as well.”

With keen interest on the 20th edition from past sponsors and participants, the 2014 regatta guarantees to be the most exciting race yet. Join us and be a part of Singapore Sailing history! A truly unique regatta that presents a myriad of sailing conditions and experiences, the 20th SSR is as much about serious competition as it is about the light-hearted and relaxed camaraderie that the organisers have created around it.
