Assistant Manager, Member Relations

Responsibilities:

  • Duties include but are not limited: to opening and sorting incoming email and processing membership applications, answering routine correspondence; and handling telephone inquiries.
  • Assist with materials/collateral for all membership-related activities.
  • Be the face of the club for members, being their go-to for feedback and thoughts.
  • Resolve complaint issues in a timely and equitable manner; log and escalate any received complaints from members for resolution.
  • Inform members of news, events, promotions through newsletters, EDMs and other publicity materials.
  • Maintain databases associated with the membership with accurate and current information.
  • Assist in coordinating corporate and member’s events.
  • Assist in communicating and coordinating information between the Club and Members.
  • Strong focus on relationship development with membership base, especially those who are new to the Club.
  • Develop profiling of interests and preference template for new member sign up and ensure information are keyed in CRM system.
  • Pro-actively engage and update members of latest products and services.
  • Provide accurate and timely weekly and monthly sales progress reports to Membership Director and General Manager.
  • To ensure standards, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies & procedures are in place and efficient and effective quality audits are performed.
  • Identify Members’ needs through continuous engagement. Analyse and work with the Membership Director and respective Department Heads to ensure that these needs are met.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma holder.
  • A few years of working experience in a similar capacity in luxury hotels with reputable records in customer service.
  • Successful record of achieving positive results in an organisation that measures and rewards individual performance.
  • Computer literate.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent skill in handling complaints and problem solving.
  • Must be proactive, meticulous and able to work independently.
  • Smart and well-groomed appearance.
