SUTL Enterprise officially opens ONE°15 Estuari Sports Centre

Johor Bahru / Singapore - 4 October 2020 - SUTL Enterprise Limited ("SUTL Enterprise" or the "Group"), a leading marina developer, operator, and consultant and owner of the premier ONE°15 marina brand, today announced the official launch of ONE°15 Estuari Sports Centre (or the "Centre") in the Iskandar Puteri residential zone in Johor Bahru, Malaysia at an opening ceremony graced by guest-of-honour Johor Tourism, Youth and Sports Committee Chairman, YB Datuk Onn Hafiz Bin Ghazi, and followed by a VIP tour of the premises led by Brian Werner, General Manager of ONE°15 Estuari Sports Centre and ONE°15 Marina Puteri Harbour, Malaysia.

Located just 5-10 minutes' drive away from the development site of the Group's upcoming marina club ONE°15 Marina Puteri Harbour, Malaysia, the sprawling 13,000m2 integrated sports complex features five indoor/outdoor tennis courts, five badminton courts and two squash courts, a 50-metre Olympic-sized pool compliant with FINA standards, yoga/aerobic/zumba/spinning studios, a pool café, a martial arts studio, a rock-climbing wall, and more. SUTL Enterprise intends to leverage these state-of-the-art facilities as a platform to promote active lifestyle programmes, while also building the venue's reputation as a world-class sports hub and training centre for members and aspiring athletes to learn new skills as well as for elite athletes to hone their skills at both leisure and competitive fronts.

ONE°15 Estuari Sports Centre's inauguration comes after months of careful planning with the safety and health of its guests, visitors and members and staff in mind amid the global Covid-19 pandemic. Besides committing to the implementation of social distancing, contact tracing and other necessary public health measures, the sports centre's management also regularly ensures that the premises and equipment are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected multiple times a day with sdpro, a US EPA-approved self-disinfecting coating distributed regionally by SUTL EnvironTech, a wholly-owned subsidiary of parent company SUTL Global.

As a world-class sporting venue in Johor with the potential to host national and international sporting events in a post-Covid world, the Centre is well equipped to stage regular activities and special events that include team-building activities, birthday parties and private group sporting workshops. It will also offer an outstanding range of sports academies including swimming, tennis, badminton and scuba-diving to provide training programmes for individuals across all age groups and learning stages. Running and cycling clubs with a regular schedule of group runs and rides will also be formed with the aim of building local sporting communities within the precinct, along with other popular activities in both Singapore and Johor.

SUTL Enterprise Executive Director and CEO, Mr Arthur Tay, commented, "The launch of ONE°15 Estuari Sports Centre is a milestone that is in line with the Group's vision to create a lifestyle sporting hub and enhance vibrancy and energy in the community. We also hope to promote the joys of yachting and other sporting-related events among families, friends and business people alike. More importantly it serves as a prelude to the much-anticipated opening of ONE° 15 Marina Puteri Harbour, Malaysia, where construction works will re-commence in 1QFY2021 following unforeseen, temporary disruptions as a result of border controls between Malaysia and Singapore due to Covid-19. Upon the clubhouse's completion in 2023, members will be able to enjoy the benefits of dual membership perks that grant them access to the facilities at both ONE° 15 Marina Puteri Harbour and ONE°15 Estuari Sports Centre."

Anwar Syahrin Abdul Ajib, UEM Sunrise's Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, said that the opening of the ONE°15 Estuari Sports Centre was the result of a successful joint venture between SUTL Enterprise and UEM Land Berhad (UEM Land), a wholly owned subsidiary of UEM Sunrise Berhad ("UEM Sunrise"). 'As master developer of Iskandar Puteri, we envisioned a vibrant community to breathe life into our high-quality and world class developments. With ONE°15 Estuari Sports Centre to add prestige and unique value to our Puteri Harbour expansion plans, this will also contribute to making Iskandar Puteri a truly sustainable community."

Brian Werner, General Manager of ONE°15 Estuari Sports Centre, adds, "The opening of ONE°15 Estuari Sports Centre could not have come at a better time, as the ongoing pandemic has taught us the importance of maintaining good health and lifestyle habits to boost our overall immunity against viruses including the common flu. Besides the variety of physical activities offered by our centre's facilities, we hope our guests will come to find a sanctuary of rest and relaxation at the centre - one that serves as a communal, yet safe space that individuals and their loved ones can connect, engage and interact during weekends together."

With sister club, ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove, Singapore just a 45-minute sail away, SUTL Enterprise is also expected to leverage the proximity to attract large-scale yachting and sporting events to the precinct.
