SINGAPORE – 2 AUGUST 2019 –ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove Singapore, eight-time winner of Asia Pacific Boating Magazine’s Best Asian Marina Award, has become the only private marina in Singapore to operate a Customs, Immigration, Quarantine (“CIQ”) facility.

The new CIQ facility, which commenced operations on 15 June 2019, offers an alternative immigration point, which has helped to ease traffic at the facility at Sisters’ Island especially during busy periods. It was officially launched by Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Ms Sun Xue Ling, who was the Guest of Honour at a ribbon cutting ceremony this morning.

The facility is expected to facilitate boater movements between ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove and the other upcoming yachting playgrounds around the region such as the ONE°15 Marinas currently under construction at Puteri Harbour and Nirup Island.

“It will enable ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove Singapore to be the epicenter of all boating activity,” added Mr Teo.

The initiative is supported by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority, the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Police Coast Guard.
