CIQ Opening Ceremony (Featured on Straits Times, Yahoo, Zao Bao, The Edge)
On 2 August 2019, ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove hosted the opening ceremony of the brand new Customs, Immigration, Quarantine (“CIQ”) Facility situated within the premise of the marina.
The ceremony was graced by Guest-of-Honour Ms Sun Xue Ling, Senior Parliamentary Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs & Ministry of National Development, as well as guests from the boating community.
With an auspicious lion dance and perfect yachting weather to kick off the occasion, the Club looks forward to facilitating the entry of yachts and boaters from all walks of life into Singapore and our marina.
ONE°15 Marina is the only private marina in Singapore to offer the convenience of an in-house CIQ Facility, offering an alternative immigration point to the facility at Sisters’ Island. Boaters with yachts berthed at the marina can expect eased traffic and waiting time for customs clearance, especially during peak periods.
This initiative is supported by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority, the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Police Coast Guard.
