In this light, ONE°15 Marina has pledged and committed to removing single-use plastics from the Marina by 2025. 2. sponsorship of the sailsg challenge

ONE°15 Marina had the opportunity to sponsor a group of varsity sailors from NUS that are raising funds for the KKH Health Fund through the “Sail SG Challenge” to help support patients in need of financial assistance for their medical needs. In turn, the group of sailors attempted a full circumnavigation of mainland Singapore using only wind and sail power on 25 and 26 September 2021. 4. ONE°15 Marina Eco Day

On 12 September 2021, ONE°15 Marina celebrated its 14th anniversary with the annual Eco Day to educate Members and public on coral reef restoration and ocean conservation. To cater to all ages, the Club held the Make Your Own Coral Workshop for children to learn about coral reefs and mould their own marine garden using plasticine.

A talk and tour was conducted by the Tropical Marine Science Institute, NUS, for all participants to enlighten them on coral reefs in the local region and how to conserve them. The day ended with Members savouring a seafood dinner, curated with sustainable seafood, to create awareness of the dangers of over-fishing and its effect on the seas. Click here to find out more.
