Singapore, 15 September 2017 – ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove, Singapore has reached a milestone on 10 September 2017, where it celebrated its 10^th year of making waves. The marina has grown from the dreams of SUTL Group Chairman, Arthur Tay, to a marina with locations in five major cities. To mark this momentous occasion, Members of ONE°15 and the public were treated to a fanfare at the 10^th Anniversary Carnival.

The 10^th Anniversary Carnival held at ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove on 10 September 2017, from 11am to 9pm, attracted close to 2,000 attendees. Most of them arrived early to sign up for the joy ride on yacht which was so popular that all 500 slots were filled just an hour from the commencement of the registration. Other crowd-pleasers included the 6-metre tall water blob tower, pool floats and loungers, balloon sculpting and bouncy castle.

The marketplace which has 13 product stalls and 10 food stalls, offered carnival attendees with an exciting range of food, fashion, and artisanal products. Guests could sample food items and receive a complimentary trial of the services offered by the booth vendors.

Competitions took place in the afternoon with cooking competition at 2pm, Lego and live band competition at 3pm. Attractive prizes were handed to the winners including a total of $3,500 cash prize, a cooking set worth $500, and a Lego set worth $100.

The celebrations peaked with the acrobatic lion dance performance at 5pm, leading up to the official cake cutting ceremony officiated by the Chairman of SUTL Group, Arthur Tay. Addressing the crowd, he said, “This ship has made quite the voyage in just a short period of 10 years. Today, ONE°15 Marina is recognised as a leader in the field, playing an instrumental role in the development of the yachting scene in Asia. While we are living out our vision as Asia’s Finest Marina and Leisure Hub, we are forward-focused on the next decade and have significant plans to develop a string of pearls along the beautiful coastline of Asia – each pearl representing a world-class ONE°15 branded integrated marina with a myriad of lifestyle and retail choices. We are incredibly proud of how far we have come and we look forward to forging new memories in the years ahead.”

The carnival, held in part for a good cause, also raised over $1,000 which will go towards supporting the beneficiaries of the National Kidney Foundation. The contribution came from vendors at the marketplace who have pledged 10% of their proceeds to the charitable cause as well as donations collected at the instant photo booth and face painting station.
